Amanda Baker Lemein, MS, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian with an extensive background in media and public relations. Amanda works with clients to offer food and nutrition expertise for a variety of needs.
Before her career in nutrition, Amanda worked as a public relations professional, developing communication skills essential to her role as a dietitian. She began her career at Weber Shandwick, followed by an in-house PR position at Four Seasons Hotels. With an ability to translate scientific studies into relatable and applicable information, she leverages her nutrition expertise to create a tailored approach for each client. Amanda also works with brands to effectively communicate nutrition information to a consumer audience. With a pulse on consumer needs, along with media and communications expertise, Amanda has an ability to bridge the nutrition gap between brand and consumer. She previously worked with Joy Bauer, nutrition expert for NBC’s Today Show, and has has written for several consumer outlets, including SELF and Shape, along with nutrition expert contributions for Reader’s Digest, Women’s Health, and Well + Good, amongst others.
In addition, she has both clinical and counseling training, working with clients for a variety of nutrition needs, including weight loss, emotional eating, prenatal nutrition and adolescent health. She works with clients to develop meal plans, strategize healthy eating approaches for busy schedules, and address the challenges to everyday health through support and nutrition expertise.
Amanda currently lives in Chicago with her husband, Robert, and their dog, Sugar.
